Our homage to the famous Road Hole at St. Andrews, the opening hole starts from the front of the clubhouse and plays to a green set near the road.  The tee shot is very open and forgiving, but the green target is small and angled, so the best drive is down the right side, a bit away from where one's eye is drawn.  If approaching from the left, be careful not to overclub.
